Overview

 

Following the success of Drone Conclave 2019, we are inviting students, professionals, startups and researchers for a deep dive into drone design and computing. The 1-day Workshop features talks by eminent speakers along with practical training to enable participants the knowledge needed for programming drone-based applications and flying your own drone.

Recent advances in  Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning and AI  have made possible innovative applications of drones in various sectors. Use of drones in the power sector, urban planning, supply chain management and efficient delivery of services is disrupting traditional methods of management in these domains. Applications using the geospatial data obtained from Drones now enable enterprises to enhance their customer value

Growing Drone Applications

Drones by design allow researchers to take to the skies and capture visual information. With the right computing power and programming, this translates any landscape into a data point that can then be used in several ways. It is not all that new to pull information from the visual realm — in fact, this is already happening to a large degree when you look at image-based platforms where images and video are converted into 1s and 0s. Drone technology, however, makes it easier to capture visual information, mine, and utilize data through enhanced computer models.
